Chris Naylor, owner of Peckforton Castle in Cheshire and the Boutique Hotel Group, appeared on BBC Breakfast TV on Saturday 22nd August, talking about the impact that the prolonged restrictions on the wedding sector have and continue to have on his business.
Mr Naylor has had to postpone over 250 weddings this year already, has lost £8m in business turnover, and highlighted the lack of support from the government for the wedding sector, describing it as the ‘forgotten industry’. Mr Naylor says that the wedding sector is in desperate need of ‘targeted support’.
