Christmas Card Campaign

It’s the time of year to send Christmas cards so this year, What About Weddings wants you, whether you’re waiting to get married or get back to work, to send a festive greeting to Boris Johnson, Nicola Sturgeon or Mark Drakeford to tell them exactly what you’d like for Christmas!

How to send your Christmas card in 4 easy steps

1. Download and print the template that you want to use from the selection below.

2. Add your personal message to the card (let’s be nice and positive, it’s Christmas after all).

3. Snap a photo of yourself posting your card anytime from 23rd-28th November, post it on your social media and tag us.

4. Sit back and enjoy a mince pie knowing that you’ve spoken up for weddings at a really critical time.

A little more information

– Download and print your template from the selection below – there are colour and black and white versions of each card so choose whichever works best for you.

Businesses, add your message – you might like to ask for a clear exit strategy, a roadmap towards increased numbers in 2021, the use of rapid testing to allow for safe celebrations, guaranteed access to grants for businesses affected by restrictions or simply consideration for weddings so that we can all get back to work as soon as possible.

Couples, add your message –

Please be sure to include your name and address.

This is particularly important in England as we’re set to come out of lockdown on 2nd December and we want weddings to be part of the discussions as restrictions are reviewed. It’s important that the governments see the strength of feeling around this issue so lots of cards, arriving in a short space of time, will really drive this message home.

Don’t Forget To Take A Photograph!

Don’t forget to take a photo of yourself posting your card, share it on social media and tag us. It would be great to see lots of letters being posted and this is such an important time to keep weddings in the forefront of people’s minds.
